I'm not much educated in the politics of the region, but I know for a fact that nothing good can come out of this Russio-Georgian conflict. The first video is an overview of the situation in South Ossetia to give an idea to those of us who are not well versed with this war between Russia and Georgia.
The second and third video shows the most recent footage I could find of Russian tanks and air cover moving in. I'll keep looking to see what else I can find. Let's hope that cooler heads prevail in this mess.

ROYAL MARINES AMBUSHED IN AFGHANISTAN
This is footage from ITN while they were with a group of Royal Marines. The footage shows another angle on the war in Afghanistan and the root of that war which in my opinion is heroine.
HELLISH NIGHT FIREFIGHT FOOTAGE IN IRAK
Ok, you won't see much in the following footage but you will ear gun fire for almost the entire length of this combat video. I can only imagine how damn scary this must be for those Marines fighting in the dark like that. How the hell do you even know what you are shooting at and what is shooting at you. My hat off to those brave Marines, they sure have guts!

Intense combat footage from close quarter action somewhere in Iraq. I have no idea which unit these American soldiers belong to, so feel free to let me know if you do.
